Recursive Process

My revision process has drastically changed now that I have beginning to develop more arguments through my writing. In my significant writing project, I’ve learned that my previous drafts are considerably altered to the point being made. There is a large distinction between the local revision and global ideas and meaning. This is due to the fact that I now developed the ideas not just summarized or use facts in order to convince my reader on my thesis. This is well seen in my first essay draft where my thesis is more about pushing a point in my thesis. Where my final draft not only is there a point to be made, but there is a development for a solution. This comes when I illustrate concern between the definition of an author and my perspective on how that definition can be changed or evolved to better fit her concept. This is best illustrated when I challenge the author, Alexandra and her definitions of narratives, but unlike the first essay where I only explain these definitions and their challenges the final draft illustrates that there is not only a solution but develops the position that I perceive. This is best Illustrated through the change of evidence as the essay continues there’s a shift in between the evidence that I primarily used in the first draft to a new set of evidence that illustrates a completely different argument. Meaning that the evidence changes because of the argument that changed creating a new perspective in the argument. This type of revision is not a local in a sense is more about the global idea of the essay itself and the evidence that used to forward the argument.
