Chemistry

Chemistry 110 is a one-semester course that consists of an introduction to chemical concepts including
atomic and molecular structure, the mole, properties of elements, chemical reactions, and
thermochemistry. Concepts from chemistry serve as a foundation for materials in other classes as well,
ranging from biology to physics to medical sciences. As an instructor I value cooperation and critical
thinking, so even those not going into a science major will practice skills that go beyond the science
classroom, including problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Personal Course Content –

General Chemistry I is more about the science of how the world works and why it works a certain way. Through this class, we learn more about the ideas that are given and the concepts around those ideas that allow us to understand the future. Chemistry not only does this class teach you about general knowledge that everyone should have, but it links things that most people would not understand or understood properly to simple everyday things one takes for granted. Chemistry also takes on the ideology that for someone to understand something about the world around them they need to understand how and why materials work the way they do give one their a link to chemistry.

What We did

There are no presentation or work that can be displayed here due to the fact most of the class is about the practice and the new knowledge that comes in.
